“I feel like a little kid again when I’m at the Minnesota Zoo,” raves Terry Hutchins. “Bruce and I have loved bringing our grandkids and friends there for many years. When I retired,” she says, “I brought my entire office to the Zoo. They loved it! It’s a magical place.”
Bruce, a former member of the Zoo’s Board of Directors, is delighted that their grandkids also love the zoo. “We have an absolutely great time, being together doing something we all enjoy. We see people of all ages thoroughly engaged with the animals. When it comes down to it, seeing that connection with nature at work—that’s why we support the Minnesota Zoo.”
Several years ago, Terry and Bruce updated their wills and included a bequest for the Minnesota Zoo Foundation. “The Zoo has been a wonderful part of our lives for many years,” reflects Bruce. “Through our bequest, we’ll be able to continue our support of the Zoo even after our lifetimes.”
